James Andriske,  2024.

My name is James, I’m a student at RMIT University, I am from Naarm / Melbourne and I am currently studying on Wurundjeri country.

I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Boon Wurrung peoples of the eastern Kulin Nations on whose unceded lands we learn, create and design. I acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded and I pay my respects to Elders past, present, and emerging.

Elly Dongyeon Kim,  2024.

My name is Elly, I’m a student in my third year at RMIT, majoring in Communication Design. I am from Korea and am now based in Melbourne. I work in a dental laboratory as a technician assistant, and I am also working as a freelance designer.

I acknowledge the people of the Woi wurrung and Boon wurrung language groups of the eastern Kulin Nation on whose unceded lands we design.

I acknowledge the ancestors and elders of Naarm, where we conduct our studies. I know that sovereignty was never ceded here, and I recognise that this land belongs to First Nations peoples.

Soumil Sawmill,  2024.

I acknowledge the people of the Woi wurrung and Boon wurrung language groups of the eastern Kulin nations on whose unceded lands I live a life full of joy and pursue my design practice for a living. I respectfully acknowledge their Ancestors and Elders, past and present.

I also acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands, waters and skies across Australia. I am grateful that I, as an immigrant, get to learn about and from the rightful Owners of Country, who have cared for the land that reside on. I acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
